In this workshop with ALI Senior Lecturer Kimberley Briesch Sumner , you will learn how to craft your own pitch, practice it with others, and prepare yourself to tell potential employers what makes YOU the right candidate for the job.

Research Writing: Literature Review in Scientific and Technical Writing

Norris Medical Library (West Conference Room), Health Sciences Campus (HSC)

This workshop, led by ALI instructors Nina Kang and Richard Jones , will explore the basics of writing literature reviews across genres with a focus on technical & scientific writing. Non-native speakers can address issues of grammatical accuracy, academic style in research writing, citation patterns of literature reviews, and practice paraphrasing and summarizing skills utilizing proper citations.
