The application site is open for the Rockwell Dennis Hunt Scholastic Award and Trophy.
The Rockwell Dennis Hunt Scholastic Award and Trophy honors USC graduate students whose undergraduate degree is from USC. The $5,000 award is bestowed at the USC Honors Convocation. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
• have earned a bachelor’s degree at USC within the last five years (2015 – 2019)
• have completed at least three years of undergraduate work at USC
• be currently working towards a master’s degree or doctorate at the University of Southern California during 2019-2020
Applications are due through to the Graduate School by Friday, December 6, 2019 at 11:59pm.
One letter of recommendation must be included with the online application by Monday, December 9, 2019 at 11:59pm.

The USC Graduate School is pleased to announce the annual Deck Our Halls competition. They are looking for the work of students from across USC to display on the walls of their offices in the Student Union building. They are especially interested in data visualizations, paintings, photographs, graphics, textiles, or other contributions that reflect the research pursuits of USC graduate students. Other than copyrighted images, all types of submissions are welcome. The work will be featured for up to one year and will then be returned to the student. Students are welcome to submit more than one piece, but each piece requires a separate application. Students can submit a maximum of four pieces.
The Graduate School will cover the cost of professionally printing and mounting works selected for display. Featured students will be invited to an open house in the spring semester. To be considered, please fill out the application by Monday, December 9, 2019 at 5pm. Proposals will be reviewed and final selections will be made in December. If selected, we will ask you to submit a high resolution jpeg or other image file.
