Summer Start Program

2019 Summer Start Program is a program designed for students to start on their MS degree in Computer Science from summer.  Students admitted to this program, will have the option to choose to enroll in Session I or Session II.

Timeline:

Spring 2019: Students will start to receive admission decisions from now on to spring 2019.

Students who start from Session I will take two classes in summer one after the other. And students who start from Session II will take one class. Session I starts from Wednesday, May 15, 2019 and the Session II starts from Wednesday, June 26, 2019.

March: Admitted students will receive an email at your USC email from Viterbi Master’s Student Services in March, 2018 regarding transitioning to USC and what you need to prepare. By mid-March the Computer Science Academic Advisement team will contact you regarding course registration, course dates/times and receiving departmental clearance (“D-clearance”) for your courses.  Seats are always saved for new Summer Start students so please do not be concerned about not being able to add a course.
