The VASE office hosts and coordinates multiple seminars and information sessions related career development often includes alumni and faculty. Regular events include:
- International Career Panel
Focused on graduate international students, these panels provide an opportunity for current students to hear from alumni on their experiences and suggestions for career advancement and processes and policies for international students. - Graduate Student Career Readiness Week
Incoming graduate students may schedule virtual small group advising sessions the week before school starts to learn about the events and services available to get you career ready. - How to Get Hired Series
The How to Get Hired Series helps undergraduate and graduate students develop key professional skills while connecting with Viterbi industry partners and alumni. Activities include employer-led presentations & discussions, online demos of career resources, themed signature events, and networking with industry partners. - Career & Internship Boot Camp
Offered at the end of each academic semester, Boot Camp offers a one-day seminar to give students practical tools for the job and internship search.
