Crowdmark supports two different kinds of assessments:

1. Administered Assessments (administered tests in person)
2. Assigned Assessments (assignments and homework that submit online)

Crowdmark's powerful grading platform allows for collaborative, streamlined grading.

Grading in Crowdmark

The grading screen shows the current student's pages arranged vertically. You can scroll to see all of the student's responses. On the right is the grading sidebar, where you can see the booklet number and question you are currently grading.

To go to the next Q1 that has not been graded: Click the Next ungraded button at the bottom of the grading sidebar. Navigate between student papers by clicking on the left or right arrows beside the Booklet # to go to the next or previous student.

Crowdmark provides a wide array of grading tools, including comments, freeform annotations, stamps, and highlight box. It also allows you to save frequently used comments into a comment library. You can incorporate rubrics ahead of time by creating shared comments with points in the Comment Library.

Crowdmark supports multiple graders! Please note that "Next Ungraded" won't always navigate to the next student in sequence, especially if others are grading. It is designed to skip booklets that other graders are looking to avoid collisions.

By default, graders do not have access to each other's evaluations. If feedback has been left on a question, other graders will simply see that it has been graded by someone else. As an instructor, you are able to filter evaluations by grader or tag.

In a multiple-grader assessment, setting tags can be a great way to organize and bookmark student work. Examples of tags can be for exemplary answers, sharing answers that require another look, or indicate suspected cheating. Students cannot see tags.

In your assessment dashboard, go to the Results area and click on the Send Grades to students button in the Send and export grades column. Students will receive an email with a unique link to their score page. This page contains assessment results information including their submitted work, scores, feedback, and any other information you've chosen to include.

You can see the student's page directly by going to the Students area in the assessment dashboard. Locate the student, then under the View heading, click Score.
