The Viterbi Graduate Academic Services and Programs and Office of Student Engagement and Leadership Development focus on student services and programming in four areas: academic, career, social, and health. We believe development and engagement in these areas are essential to student success..
These programs are open to all eligible individuals. The Viterbi School of Engineering operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the University’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or any other prohibited factor.
VASE Student Services
Academic Services
Academic services include support services and policies that assist a student with navigating their academic journey at USC. USC Viterbi Graduate Advisement provides guidance on degree requirements, course planning, and academic policies through department advisors and the Viterbi Graduate Academic Services & Programs (VGASP) office.
Career Development
Viterbi Career Connections provide career services to current Viterbi students to prepare for their career after graduation. Career Services include career advising, workshops, events, job and internship search resources, and international student career resources.
Student Engagement
Student life encompasses the many aspects of the college experience outside the classroom. The resources, events, and information provided in the area of student engagement aim to help students get help, get connected, get involved, and build a strong sense of belonging.
Student Welness
Embodying the spirit of USC Viterbi students, characterized by creativity, ambition, and a commitment to solving societal issues, Viterbi Well dedicates itself to supporting the wellness of engineering students.
Graduate Student Advising
Viterbi Graduate Student Affairs has virtual drop-in advising available for Master's and PhD students with general USC questions, DEN@Viterbi, Reduced Course Load (RCL), Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), Program Extension (PE), and Leave of Absence (LOA). In-depth academic advisement and program-specific questions are provided by academic department graduate advisors. Reach out for longer meetings through Advise USC
Changes in drop-in hours/availability will be posted here. Drop-In hours will change for the summer session beginning the week of May 18th. Please check accordingly.
