What is a Self-Referral?
A simple way to connect with the Viterbi Wellness Team.
1. A Self-Referral means you're taking the first step
- If you're feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or unsure of where to start, a self-referral allows you to reach out for support on your own
- Note: Our program is non-clinical and not mental health counseling, but we can guide you to those services if needed
2. What happens after submitting?
- A staff member will reach out to schedule a short conversation
- Together, you'll set goals and find resources git to help you navigate your personal, academic, or wellness challenges
- Tools and communities will be given to you to set you up for success in Viterbi and beyond
3. Recap - we can help with
- Short term goal-focused support
- Wellness coaching and consultations
- Referrals to existing campus resources
- Guidance on accommodations
