Fellowship Resources for PhDs

October 1, 2019

On-Line Fellowship Course
The Online Fellowship Course is designed for first year PhDs and provides information on the types of funding available to USC PhDs. It includes interviews with fellowship recipients, resources and tips. New incoming PhDs students are automatically enrolled in the course and can access it by logging in to the USC Blackboard system with a USC email ID and password: https://blackboard.usc.edu/webapps/login/. Once students have signed in, they will need to click on the “Grad School Fellowship Course” at the bottom of the first page in a box labelled “My Organizations”. Clicking the eLearning tab on the top left (under the announcement tab) leads to three modules.

Research and Fellowships Week
This year’s Research and Fellowships Week will take place November 4-8, 2019. A collaboration between the Office of Undergraduate Programs, the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs and the Graduate School, the week includes a variety of fellowship-related information sessions for students from all levels and backgrounds. More information is available here: https://ahf.usc.edu/events/rfw/

Awards and Fellowship Database
Finally, students are encouraged to check out USC’s Awards and Fellowship Database. All funding opportunities that come to the Graduate School are archived here: https://awardsdatabase.usc.edu/Index.asp
