USC Health and Wellness Week Oct 23-27, 2017

October 17, 2017

Now that we have reached the midpoint of fall semester, we invite you to take a moment to reflect on your health and wellness and consider self-care. Discover the many USC resources to support your wellness – from managing stress to getting enough sleep. Sometimes, simple strategies and small lifestyle adjustments can positively impact all areas of your life and help you thrive as a student and throughout your adult life.

USC Health & Wellness Week returns to campus October 23 to 27, 2017.

Explore the ways USC supports your wellbeing in every area of your life. Our calendar of activities range from guided meditations and healing massage to free fitness classes and the F45 Playoffs. Use this week as an opportunity to try something new.

October is also USC Academic Culture Assembly’s Mental Health Awareness Month, and they have a number of events to increase your knowledge about this topic.

It is normal to experience some stress and anxiety, but you should know there are resources to help you through any difficulties. Never hesitate to reach out for help for yourself or another Trojan who may be struggling (TC4T). Find effective ways to manage stress, overcome challenges, and feel supported in Group Counseling. Take advantage of ever-increasing opportunities to participate in group meditation and mindful practice through various departments and student organizations, and with free apps like the newly launched Mindful USC.
