Attached are announcements for two opportunities for graduate students at the USC Joint Educational Project.
The first is a 50% teaching assistantship for the 2019-20 academic year. JEP is seeking a PhD student with an interest in service-learning and community-engaged pedagogies to assist with curricula development and supporting our undergraduate peer educators. The deadline to apply is Monday, March 18th.
JEP also seeks nominations for the 2019 Dick Cone Award for Graduate Engaged Scholarship. This annual award is presented to a graduate student (master or doctoral) who uses his/her advanced training and skills to address particular community-defined needs, e.g., through research, consultation, service, etc. Nominations (including self-nominations) are due Friday, March 8th.
