American Language Institute is organizing a “Research Writing” workshop. The primary focus will be on how non-native speakers can address issues of grammatical accuracy and academic style in research writing.
- This workshop will explore the basics of writing literature reviews across genres with a focus on technical and scientific writing.
- It will explore the key characteristics and citation patterns of literature reviews and practice paraphrasing and summarizing skills utilizing proper citations.
- It will also discuss how to take a stance toward the literature by framing or positioning one’s research.
