The DPS Social, organized by Viterbi Admissions and Student Engagement Office, was a great opportunity for our summer students to get important survival information as a student at the university. It helped them understand the role of DPS in case of an emergency. All the Trojans who newly joined the Viterbi family this summer were invited to explore and learn about the different resources DPS has available to offer them in an interesting and fun way by completing a path on the Experience Viterbi App. The path involved some awesome and fun tasks such as the taking selfies with the DPS officers, answering quiz questions about DPS and campus safety in general to name a few. As a prize for their hard work, everyone was treated with a refreshing Boba drink. The event also offered the students to meet their fellow Trojans and get perspective of each other’s lives here at USC.
