Beware of Call Spoofing

Spoofing is when scammers deliberately falsify the information transmitted to caller ID display to disguise their identity.

OIS has received reports that scammers have been using our phone number 213-740-2666 to falsify information and request money from students.

Please remember that OIS staff will never request money over the phone. If you receive these phone calls and are unsure, please hang up. Call or visit our office or contact DPS before taking any further action.
