Spring 2027 DEN@Viterbi D-Clearance
All DEN@Viterbi students have been granted D-clearance for the following courses. No myViterbi D-Clearance request is needed prior to registering, but please review the following:
- D-clearance does NOT guarantee you a seat in the courses you desire. Enrollment is based on a first-cone first-served basis.
- D-clearance does NOT waive you from pre-requisite requirements. It is your responsibility to review these requirements and to contact your academic advisor if you believe they should be waived.
- D-clearance does NOT mean all the courses are applicable to your degree. You are responsible for understanding your degree requirements. If you are unsure if a course counts towards your degree, please connect with your academic advisor for verification. Taking a non-degree applicable course may delay graduation and negatively impact international student visa status.

Academic Advising
DEN@Viterbi State Authorizations
USC must be authorized to deliver online programs to students residing in certain states that requires state authorization. Prior to enrolling in classes, DEN@Viterbi (online) students in the United States need to confirm that their academic program is authorized by their state for online delivery. Your program may not be authorized in all states and therefore if you move, you may not be able to continue in the program. Should you plan to move, please contact vaseden@usc.edu well in advance to determine your options for continuing this program. A list of states where your program is currently authorized is available at the State Authorizations page.
Questions: If you have any questions about a specific state or academic program, please email denstateauth@usc.edu.
