The Rockwell Dennis Hunt Scholastic Award
The Rockwell Dennis Hunt Scholastic Award honors USC graduate students whose undergraduate degree is from USC. The $5,000 award is bestowed at the USC Honors Convocation in April. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
· Earned a bachelor’s degree at USC within the last five years (2013 – 2017);
· Completed at least three years of undergraduate work at USC;
· Currently working towards a master’s or doctoral degree at the University of Southern California during 2017-2018
Applications are due through to the Graduate School by Friday, December 8, 2017.
Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship (DOE CSGF)
We are pleased to inform you that the 2018 – 2019 application for the Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship (DOE CSGF) is now available online.
Beginning in 2018, the DOE CSGF will offer a new track for those pursuing an advanced degree in applied mathematics, statistics or computer science with research interests that help use emerging high performance systems more effectively. Students in this track will focus on issues in high-performance computing as a broad enabling technology and not on a particular science or engineering application.

2018 Switzer Environmental Fellowships – Apply Now!
The application period for 2018 Switzer Environmental Fellowships is now open! Switzer Fellowships are given to top graduate students in New England and California who demonstrate outstanding leadership potential, and who are committed to a career in environmental improvement. The Fellowship provides a one-year $15,000 cash award, access to other Switzer grant programs and career support, and access to a of over 600 leading environmental professionals.
This year’s application deadline is January 8, 2018.
Please see the Call for Applications which describes the Fellowship program and its requirements. This year we continue to encourage more applications from first generation graduate students, students of color, and those from traditionally underrepresented groups. Please pass this on to eligible candidates and colleagues, and post to your financial aid, graduate student and diversity office bulletin boards!
