Call for Applications: HUCE Environmental Posdoc Fellowship Program!

November 29, 2018

The HUCE Environmental Fellows Program awards two-year postdoctoral fellowships to outstanding young scholars in any environment-related discipline. We are looking for the very best candidates with environment-related research interests across all science disciplines, social sciences and policy, and the humanities. This year we are hosting a cohort representing research areas in history, engineering and public policy, comparative literature, earth and planetary science and earth system sciences, chemistry, and climate change adaptation.

The Center will award four to six two-year fellowships this coming spring with a start date in September 2019. The fellowships pay a salary of $68,000 per year with benefits eligibility; $2,500 each year for professional/research expenses; and a one-time stipend for relocation expenses. The application deadline is January 16, 2019. The Center asks applicants to propose a research program and to secure a commitment from one or more Harvard faculty members to host their work.

Additional information on the Environmental Fellows Program and the application form are posted at www.environment.harvard.edu. The attached poster includes a summary of the information on our website. Please help us by forwarding it to your colleagues and to your graduating students.
