Make the Most Of the Commencement Day

  • As is standard with events at arenas and large venues, all guests must go through a metal detector to enter the satellite ceremonies.
  • The following items are prohibited in satellite ceremony venues: backpacks, balloons, fog horns, whistles and other noise makers. All such objects will be confiscated at the door.
  • No shouting or whistling during the ceremony.
  • We ask that you respectfully stay until the completion of the ceremony. We ask that graduates show support and respect for their fellow classmates by remaining for the entire ceremony and we hope that you will show the same support.
  • Please remain seated during the entire ceremony as not to obstruct the view for other guests.
  • Wear comfortable shoes - there will be a lot of walking throughout the day.
