Viterbi Sustain-A-Thon 2020
Passionate about sustainability? Not scared of a little friendly competition? Look no further! The Viterbi Virtual Sustain-A-Thon is an interdisciplinary student competition designed to utilize your engineering skills for the purpose of creating solutions to address existing sustainability problems.
This competition is open for both Undergraduate and Graduate students. Create a team of three to six students or sign up solo to be placed on a team and join us for this 48-hour design sprint! Teams must be made up of at least 2 different majors. An interdisciplinary approach is key.
This is a virtual competition so participation and collaboration will be done virtually!
There will be cash prizes for winners, and a lot of opportunities to earn points in the Experience Viterbi App for all participants.
Important dates:
- Friday, August 28th at 12 PM PT: Information Session. Missed the Info Session? Review these Slides
- Tuesday, September 1st at 5:00 PM PT: Deadline to Sign-Up for the Competition.
- Friday, September 4th 4:00 PM PT: Event start
- Friday, September 4th 6:00 PM PT: Competition officially starts
- Sunday, September 6th 6:00 PM PT: Competition ends
- Wednesday, September 9th 6:00 PM PT: Awards Ceremony
