Viterbi Graduate Academic Services and Programs

The Viterbi Graduate Academic Services and Programs focuses its student services and programming in four areas: academic, career, social, and health. We believe development and engagement in these areas are essential to student success. The VGASP team support graduate students navigate academic, career, and student life at Viterbi.

These programs are open to all eligible individuals. The Viterbi School of Engineering operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the University’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or any other prohibited factor.

Academic Services

Academic services include support services and policies that assist a student with navigating their academic journey at USC. In this section, you can review Academic Policies and Support, Forms, and Commencement information as well as access student services for DEN@Viterbi and International Students.

Career Development

Viterbi Career Connections provide career services to current Viterbi students to prepare for their career after graduation. Career Services include career advising, workshops, events, job and internship search resources, and international student career resources.

Student Engagement

Student life encompasses the many aspects of the college experience outside the classroom. The resources, events, and information provided in the area of student life all aim to help students get help, get connected, and get involved.

Student Resources

Viterbi provides a breadth of resources for our students ranging from course planning, mentoring, campus groups, student wellness resources, and more. While here, we highly encourage you to take advantage of as many resources as possible.

Graduate Student Advising

Viterbi Graduate Student Affairs has virtual drop-in advising available for Master's and Phd students. Changes in drop-in hours/availability will be posted here. Please check accordingly.

VASE advisors can assist Viterbi graduate students with general USC questions, DEN@Viterbi, RCL, CPT, OPT, PE, and LOA. In-depth academic advisement and program planning is provided by academic department graduate advisors. Please contact your major department to meet with your graduate advisor for academic advisement (course related questions, d-clearance, graduation requirements, application to graduate).

Our office will be close on Monday, February 17th in observe of Presidents Day. Drop-in hours will resume on Tuesday, February 18th.
